About

I make portraits on film because it is the only way I know to keep them honest. It makes me wait. It makes me see.

I learned from Demarchelier, Ritts, and Weber. They showed me how a face can carry elegance, how light can carve a body, how a glance can hold a story. I follow that.

What’s your story?

I’d love to help you tell it. What matters is that the picture feels true. It should look as if it could have been made yesterday or fifty years ago. If you want photographs that endure, we can make them together.

Get in Touch

“I think a lot of the time these days people are so concerned about having the right camera and the right film and the right lenses… that they’re missing the key element.

Herb Ritts

Each frame is deliberate. Each portrait is a kind of promise between me and the person in front of the lens. I don’t chase perfection. I chase what is real.
